Hiking along the Chippewa River in Eau Claire I found this big tree root which has been exposed for years, so long that the water from floods and rains has carved out a tunnel more than ten feet long in the root allowing it to flow gently back into the river! The tree itself was probably 20 feet away from the edge of the water.
