Taken in the Adirondack mountains just outside of Paul Smiths in upstate New york during a visit to see my dad.Time
Late afternoon, past the peak of fall. Had hoped to make it prior to the peak, but one too many flights rescheduled delayed me by more than I'd have liked. Lots of photos and good times with my dad though, and I visit this area each time I fly up to the area.Lighting
All natural lighting on this one. I lucked out with it being open enough to take advantage of it.Equipment

Currently my go bag has: -Nikon d7100, 18-105 refurbished nikon, 70-300 tamron w/macro. Each has a uv/polarizer/cap. Fixed 35mm, Protein snacks, Extra battery, ibuprofen, reuseable water bottle, Wireless remote, Glass sphere in case with stand.Feedback
Pay attention to the areas often ignored for some cool photo ops. The area I went to had a couple small pathways that led to the edge of the water for fishing, but they were also perfect photo spots!
