Location
This photo was taken at 9,000 ft in the Rockies of Colorado when the winter snow had gone and the sun warmed the earth.Time
My family and I are foragers and get up early every in the spring to go check our spots and how the season is going. Colorado has a tendency to go through 10 year droughts. This photo was taken at the beginning of a wet season as these flowers tend to show more toward the beginning of summer, which meant great mushroom foraging in this particular area.Lighting

This is where it gets a little interesting. Back when was a kid, my father was a camera salesman and love photography. I began woring in his store at the age of 12 developing film. When digital cameras came to be, I refused to own one with the mindset that the art was being taken away from traditional 35mm film photos. I to this day still do not own a digital camera... except the one on my phone. To this end, this photo was taken with my Samsung S8.Inspiration

Feel you medium. Sometimes something looks like it will make a good photograph, but unless you can capture it's essence, than it just comes out one dimensional.
