I'm supposed to name this image for a homework assignment on a photography course I've started - but I have no idea! Rusty Old Thing? Edge of the Pier? Why did I take & like this shot? It's somewhere very few people look. It's forgotten. It has history. It has weathered many storms. I enjoy the colour contrast, afternoon light & angle of the shot. It's also open to interpretation: Is it a horse? Is it a snake? No, it's just that thing at the edge of the pier. And I believe beauty is all around us - if we just stop & look. Please share your ideas & CC.
