Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on our front porch. I was looking out the window, just as she was looking in.

Time

I think it was in the afternoon.

Lighting

It just happened to be a sunny day.

Equipment

I used my trusty Nikon D5000. Yes, it's an older model that I still use. Heck, is my only DSLR. I believe the photographers skill a lot of times is more important then the equipment. You can still take a bad photo with the best gear imaginable.

Inspiration

I loved the way,she wal looking at me. The fact that is was through a window made it kind of of creative composition.

Editing

I don't like go do much to my photos. Usually just cropping if needed and adjusted contrasts to make my photos pop. I like filters or over editing.

In my camera bag

My 85mm Nikkor lens is the one I use most.

Feedback

Patience and creativity. Look for things at an angle you wouldn't normally.
