Just as the galactic core of the milky way was rising over Whangarei Heads in NZ, clouds started rolling in. But I managed to capture Jupiter as it rose (mid left) before the clouds closed in. This was a 5 second exposure shot at 18mm, 3200 ISO, f-1.8.
