This was shot a few days before my model's birthday. She wanted to do a birthday themed shoot. And these shoots are her girly time as she is surrounded by 5 guys (husband and 4 boys ranging in age from 9 years to 9 months). So I bought a backdrop with pink as the predominant color, colored light bulbs (set to pink), and colored fairy lights (also set to pink, though they look more purple). Though you cannot see the entire set in this photo, my model made a lot of "pastries" - cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and doughnuts, as well as some fruits (the strawberry in this photo, but also cherries, and lemon and lime slices, and some of the outfits she wore during the shoot. There were also balloons on the ground, and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY balloon sign hung up at the top of the backdrop. This is one of the top photos that came out of that shoot.
