Location
This was taken in my aunt's garden which I'd been dying to take pictures of for quite some time. I plan to do another shoot there this summer.Time
This was taken late afternoon. I had originally planned to take it earlier in the day but was waiting for my camera battery to charge. It also happened to by July 1, Canada Day where I'm from.Lighting
It was a bit of a difficult shoot since since it was an overcast day. By the time I got to this part of the garden I was shooting in it started clouding over for good and it started drizzling rain after this shot was taken.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon Rebel T3i with a Sigma 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM lens.Inspiration
My aunt keeps a very beautiful garden full of flowers and vegetables. I've always wanted to take photos of it and I finally got around to it summer of 2017. Some of the other pictures in my gallery were also taken in her garden.Editing
I just lightened the photo a little so it wasn't so dark. Usually I don't like to any editing. In my camera bag
Photography is a side hobby of mine and usually photos are taken in my backyard or on a trip. I don't like to carry too much equipment with me, otherwise it gets too heavy for me to carry. Usually I only carry my Canon Rebel and a versatile lens like my Sigma 18-250mm since it can take a nice range of pictures on it.Feedback
With macro photography, I find that you have to be patient and if you can, use a tripod to get a steady shot.
