Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in my home studio in St. Petersburg. The model is lying on an inflatable bed
Time
It was about 11 in the morning. At that time the sun coming in the room was coming at the right direction.
Lighting
The lighting is mixed natural/artificial. A 80x120 softbox is lighting the model from the left. The window is on the right and provides some fill light and created that slit of light on the wall.
Equipment
The camera is a Panasonic GX8 with a Panasonic 25mm lens. I used a Godox TT600 flash in a softbox to light the scene
Inspiration
This was taken quite spontaneously. We met with the model for a couple of days. On the morning we decided to make use of the inflatable bed and natural light. This is the best shot of the series
Editing
Yes, the usual skin retouch and dodge and burn. Some color grading has been done as well.
In my camera bag
I do not give much importance to gear. I have just my camera, the flash trigger and 3 primes (25mm, 42.5mm and 60mm).
Feedback
Work on lighting and improving your skills. Spend on education, not gear. Also, nothing matters if you aren't shooting interesting subjects. I spend a lot of time to find beautiful and skilled models who are interested in taking part on my art projects and get really involved.
