Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from a location about 15ft back from the edge corner of the falls on the Canadian side.

Time

This shot was from Aug 18th @ 3:38pm it was a beautiful day out with the grandkids.

Lighting

As we were walking around you could see the rainbow shifting and changing. As we came passed this spot the double bow appeared. Just at the perfect angle so I snapped a few pictures.

Equipment

This shot was a candid shot with an iPhone 6+. Handheld.

Inspiration

The colors and shadows were perfect that day.

Editing

No post work here just as the camera saw it. Don’t mess with the good

In my camera bag

If I’m out with family I will only have my iPhone with me and sometimes my olloclip iPhone lens kit. When I go out to take photos my kit is a Canon 5D MK3 with a variety of lenses focal length range is from 11mm to 800mm and a 150mm macro. I use Manfrotto tripod and monopod when ever possible.

Feedback

Always have your gear handy as changes in light and shadow are fleeting. Always be aware of your surroundings so you can spot the opportunities that arise.
