Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken last year in my front home garden in Janesville, Wisconsin. I had moved in at the end of the previous summer and had no idea what color the lillies were, all blooms gone at that point. Little did I know I had such beauties waiting for me the following spring.

Time

Mid morning I wandered outside with my coffee to water my garden and there I saw it.

Lighting

It was light but not too bright, some clouds overhead.

Equipment

My LG phone, because that is what I am all about. What beauty can I show the world, just through my simple phone camera?

Inspiration

The bloom was natural and perfect, curvy and vibrant. I had to share it with someone.

Editing

I trimmed up the edges, but otherwise - why mess with perfection?

In my camera bag

No bag, no equipment. Just me, my phone, and the world around.
