This was a studio shooting, working to find a good low key shot!Time
this photo was shot pretty late, after a few hours of adjusting the lights and background, the model, to try and get the best of itLighting
I had the image in my head, like dunes of sand under the light of the moon. That was the feeling I wanted to get working for this photo.Equipment
I used to 80 cm strip boxes, black background, two 600 strobes, a 35mm lens and a Nikon D5 cameraInspiration
I've seen a lot of low key photography over the internet, nice silhouettes and shadows, but I didn't yet find something to show me something else but the female body. I wanted the photo to get your imagination rolling.Editing
Just the usual steps, chromatic aberrations, lens correction, turned it into black and white, a little bit of contrast, shadows and light play, and some body retouches that I took finally.In my camera bag
it depends, but when I go for landscape, usually the 15-30 mm , 24-70 and 70-200 with a D850 from Nikon, a tripod is usually in my trunk and some ND filters.Feedback
trial and error, I didn't get it from first time. It's about the light, it's about the position, it's about finding the right composition.
