Behind The Lens

Location

This was a shooting with two beautiful models, in an old renovated classic home near Berlin.

Time

Photo shooting took place in the morning, indoors, and outdoors.

Lighting

With this photo I used only the morning sun light, through a window in the Kitchen. The model was sitting on the kitchen furniture, near the window.

Equipment

For this one I used my Nikon D850 and the Sigma Art 105mm F1.4

Inspiration

The house, was very well renovated, still, most of it, was like when it was first build, 150 years ago. So I wanted to use the space.

Editing

In post-processing I usually use Lightroom for usual thing, like highlights, lens distortion, shadows, contrast and so on, after that I did my light skin retouching in Photoshop, and applied a gradient cinematic touch at the end, but also very light.

In my camera bag

With the equipment in my bag it usually depends where I am going. For every day photography, I have my Nikon D850 with a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 and the 70-200mm f2.8 G2.

Feedback

First you have to explain the model what do you want from him/her, try to visualize the picture before, be careful with the light that you have, and find the right position for composition. After that very careful with post-processing, I try not to deteriorate to much the original.
