Photo was taken in my hometown Osijek, Croatia, in the forest nearby my home.Time
It was spring, around noon. I decided to take a walk through a peaceful path in forest by the river Drava. I find these walks suiting. Everytime I go there, I always find something new and interesting to photograph, and this photo was no exeption.Lighting
It was shot in natural light, because I find that to be the best way to capture the essence of nature.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony Alpha 3000, with an 18-55mm, f/3.5-5.6 lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
Everything around was dark, except this rich green colour. Immeditely I saw strenght in it. Reaching out so warm and strong to escape dark and cold place. I almost felt like this little creature was calling me. I stood there admiring it for a while and then took a photo.Editing
I didn't do a lot of processing, the shot itself was already beautiful enough. I've corrected the contrast and added a little fire to green colour.In my camera bag

Just take a walk, it's better if you are by yourself, look everywhere and I guarantee you will find something hiding, patiently waiting for you. Nature has gifts for every human who decides to see what she offers. When you find that special thing that arouse your sight just look at it for a while. Trust me, the nature will take your hand and take a shot. So, go!
