This picture offers a view of the Smolny Cathedral through Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge.
The Smolny Cathedral is the Orthodox Church of St. Petersburg. It is part of the architectural ensemble of Smolny Monastery, which is located in St. Petersburg on the left bank of the Neva River on Smolnaya Embankment. Until 2015 was a concert venue for classical music
Bolsheokhtinsky bridge built in 1911. The bridge is three-span, metal, the central span is a drawbridge. In the towers (the height of each from the ordinary water of 36 m), made in the form of lighthouses, there are mechanisms governing the divorce of the bridge. In appearance, the bridge has a slight resemblance to the Tower Bridge, built earlier in London.
