Ura is a large bay on the Murmansk coast of the Barents Sea. It is open to the north, it flows into the mainland for 22 km. The width at the entrance is 9.5 km. Depth up to 256 m. At the confluence of the river Ury at the beginning of the 20th century the Finnish colony of Urskaya (now the village of Ura-Guba) was located; on the island of the heretic was a fishing village.In Ur is caught herring, which goes there in large jambs.
