I took this photo at the gym I train every day. It was surprising to me how the lighting set up changed the whole ambient and atmosphere of the place!Time
Even though it seems like a night scene, the photo was actually taken at around 2 PM. The general lights of the gym were even turned on! But the magic of the camera settings and lighting (flashes and strobbist) ended up making a kind of gloomy scene as if the model was in the middle of the jungle. I wanted to create a wild scenario, that's why the clothing and make up choices.Lighting
For the lighting setup I used a large softbox and an umbrella, and I put them on both sides of the model, to generate a deeper picture.Equipment
The equipment I used in this photoshoot was my Canon 6D camera with a 50mm f 1.8 lens and 2 flashes along.Inspiration
Fitness and wild nature definitely inspired the whole concept of this photo. If you look closer to the model's eyes you can also be aware of her attitude: strong, courageous and sexy.Editing
The only post-processing I did was a color correction in Adobe Lightroom (my favourite photo editor).In my camera bag
I normally use my Canon 6D + my 50mm f 1.8 lens and my 17-40mm f4 lens!Feedback
If you want to achieve something similar, one big important thing: LIGHTING IS KEY. It's fundamental that you choose the right angles and light power to create a strong and captivating image.
