Behind The Lens

Location

The image was taken in my garden

Time

The image was taken mid afternoon

Lighting

The lighting was natural, sky was bright and gray due to snow clouds

Equipment

Nikon d5200, 35mm 1.8f afs dx iso100 1/250 @f/5 no exposure compensation.

Inspiration

I wanted to document aspects of the puppy treacle growing up and this was her first experience of snow which she loved to play in, also this gave me the chance to improve my skills with animals wich are at times unpredictable

Editing

I use on1 Raw I cropped in tight then used tone enhancement to warm up the fur, added some dynamic contrast, a small amount of sharpening, and a subtle vinggete.

In my camera bag

I have my d5200, 35mm, 1.8, 18-55mm vrII, 70-300mm vrII if, some filters,cable release, flashgun

Feedback

Patience is a vertue, when working with am unpredictable model, have fun with them, let them settle , and just short periods of trying to capture the images,
