My daughter's dog that she adopted as a 7 month old, from Louisiana. Catahoula's are very active. They're used for herding cows, sheep, and about anything. The name Catahoula comes from the Native American Choctaw tribe and means 'Sacred Lake'. This dog loves lakes & loves swimming any chance she gets.
