This river flows through Honey Island Swamp in SW MS-SE LA border. The home of alligators, wild boar and a host of other critters. Many choose the lifestyle of life on the river with hunting, trapping and fishing. I was at a boat landing shortly after sunrise on a very foggy morning. The water has the stillness of early morning, the haze of the fog adds a nice soft view of the other bank with the near in more contrast. I love the mood set in this shot. Seems after daylight saving time kicked in sunrise is easier to shoot than sunset. We always have a foggy space in season transitions. I love the mood set by the fog. And practice makes perfect in LR edits...
