He was coming to visit us for a few weeks - but we haven't seen him for awhile now. He's not the usual suspect at our feeder. When I was little I thought this was a made up name. But it's real and he's a type of woodpecker. Most all my bird photos are taken through glass, so that tends to blur the image a tad. I'm thinking of putting a 'blind' out on the deck to see if I could get better photos of the birds.
