I fed the birds with peanuts around the area of the tap. Even putting peanuts on the tap. Eventually the blue tit landed on the tap and I was successful in getting the shot.Equipment
Canon 7D - Aperture f/5.6. ISO 2500. Shutter 1/640 focal length 171/1.Inspiration
I love a challenge - I seen the tap and decided it would make a great backdrop if only I could convince a bird to land on top of it.Editing
Changed contrast and brightness slightly but I changed the back drop to black and white. In my camera bag
I have 3 Canon Cameras - 7D, 50D and 350D. I have a good range of lenses from wide angle and macro to 150 - 500 mm.Feedback
Be patient, wait on the right shot. Never give up. In my case while I was waiting in the right shot I had great pleasure in watching the birds come and go. Do not get frustrated. Time and patience works wonders.
