It was around the middle of the day, for the best light inside a room.Lighting
It was just natural light through a window, in early Autumn so the light was still a strong summer light.Equipment

It was her gotcha day (the day we adopted her) and I wanted to get a few photos of her to celebrate. She sits wonderfully for photos because I use treats when taking photos of my pets.Editing
I just cleaned out the background so you couldn't see the folds in my duvet.In my camera bag
I shoot mainly with my Canon 6D and 35mm F2, but I also keep a Canon 50mm 1.8 and a Tokina 16-28mm F2.8Feedback
Work with treats, preferably with animals that are well trained because it's much easier. This is my furbaby, so she's very well trained for pictures. Work in a space they are comfortable and try make sure the background is clean and no distractions.
