An abandoned River -IMG_1088

This place adjoining a Hindu Temple used to be an irrigation canal providing water to thousands of acres of paddy field. Thanks to the
disputes between states concerning river water sharing thousands of
acres of cultivable lands turned dry and people starting building houses
on cultivable lands. The dry river holds the solid banks, dry leaves
and the majestic temple only as memorabilia.
