It was an annual festival event at our place, Lalgudi, Trichy District,
Tamil Nadu, India. There is a temple called Saptha Risheeswarar in Lalgudi. Seven renowned sages or rishis worshiped Lord Shiva in this
temple, so the history of the temple says. Chariot Festival is an important festival during this time. Many disciples of Lord Shiva come
for this event and conduct their rituals. This photos was taken on one
such occasion.
