This reservoir occupies a nicely dark location on the way to Pt. Reyes National Seashore. It's not perfect but it's easy to reach. There are cares coming along the road behind me. They don't come too often to prohibit getting a nice eight minute exposure, using a tracking mount that's polar aligned. That's why the stars are so round.
