This is a self portrait. One night I was applying my makeup as I usually do, and got frustrated with the fact I couldn’t do my eyeshadow properly. This resulted in a bit of anger: my complete colouring in of my entire face. It was frantic, sparatic. As I began to wipe the makeup off I realised that this was something beautiful I had created from my own emotions and that emotions of anger and frustration are just as valid as those that are happy.
