My last days in Reykjavik before coming home I walked around the city, and in the center of the city next to City Hall there is a small lake that was mostly still frozen. One small portion along the northern edge of the lake was thawed, and it was there that the majority of the ducks, geese, and swans hung out. These three whooper swans caught my attention as they climbed out of the water and started walking around on the ice.
