I took this shot at a recent equestrian competition, of the next horse and rider combination due into the arena. I like the feel of alertness and anticipation; and I also like the flare and fall of the natural light. If you look very closely you can also see a faint mist of breath coming from the horse's nostrils - it was a freezing winter day!
