Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in a really small corner of a room in my apartment.

Time

Afternoon, as I like the afterglow of the golden hour.

Lighting

I follow the DIY current, so my lights are just wall lights connected to some power.

Equipment

I used a Sony a6000 with a M42 adaptor along with a Sigma manual lens on top of a very cheap tripod.

Inspiration

It's part of a series of portraits with different backgrounds invoking visuals and I wanted to give it a cyberpunkish vibe.

Editing

Yes, I have enhanced the contrast, especially the background, amplified the sweater color and repaired some skin.

In my camera bag

Generally a Canon EOS 300 with a Canon 50mm 1.8 prime lens, my Sony a6000 with a Takumar 50mm and lots of film.

Feedback

If you use a 50mm lens, you don't need a lot of space for bust portraits.
