Bascom Hall serves as the main administration building for UW-Madison. It sits on top of an iconic hill that is oftentimes used as one of the sites during "NCAA Game Day" television backdrops. Abraham Lincoln sits statuesque, reminding the freedom to learn is everyone's right. This hill also serves as a common meeting place for protestors to gather then march down State St. to the other end which has the Wisconsin State Capitol building. A landgrant college from the mid 1840's.
