Landing of this beautiful Egret was captured near Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary near New Delhi (India). The sanctuary was closed for the day and we were disappointed. While returning I spotted this bird in action and succeeded in recording its landing on the tree on my handheld DSLR despite visibility having been severely impaired due to pollution and the bird being far beyond the range of my 300 mm telephoto lens. What a reward?
