Don't need level ground to camp on and its mostly Precambrian Shield in this area (glacial carved granite) so far better to hang than to lay, you just need two trees, 12-15' apart.
Notice how the glaciers carved these hills of granite and gouged them deeply in areas, leaving fingers of granite descending into the depths in the direction of river flow. An amazing geological process when you think of it.
