Havängsdösen is from the early Stone Age and was built around 5,500 years ago. It was long hidden under the sand, but was exposed during a heavy autumn storm in 1843. The die consists of several stone blocks that form a burial chamber. From the beginning, the grave chamber was enclosed in soil and stone.
