The photograph above was taken close to the time that we arrived, the deer were all standing in a group close to the entrance of the carpark.

I managed to capture two of the deer from the pack running of down the track during the short amount of time we spent photographing this particular group of deer.

There were about 7 or 8 deer in this small group that seemed very interested and alert to our presence and therefore we chose to take some photos to show this behavior and attitude.
