I spent most of the morning exploring sections of Sumter National Forest. This particular section is located in a quail conservation area - pine plantation.
I felt the need to go connect with nature this morning, and this was the perfect place to do it. Unfortunately, I didn't have my big lens with me so shooting wildlife pics produced mediocre results. I decided, instead, to just sit and "be," watching the birds as they flew in and out of the nesting area.
