Location
This photo was taken in Henningsvaer, Lofoten Islands (Norway). On our way back to Svolvaer, I had to make a stop at this place to get this unique POV with my drone. I had located this very precise aerial spot thanks to Google Earth. I thus knew exactly where I had to send my aircraft to get that angle. I took it off from the football field that can be seen at the middle bottom of the image. As I wanted an improved perspective effect, I took several horizontal shots that I then stitched in post treatment for a vertical composition.Time

The day was grey, but nice contrasts and lights could be seen behind the mountains in the background.Equipment

My desire of discovering new and unique aerial angles led me to look for new spots on Google Earth.Editing
my post processing consisted of stitching together several photos to increase the perspective effect. I also worked on contrast and microcontrast. In my camera bag

Use Google Earth to find new aerial POV. To avoid flat and dull images, try to find the best possible angles for spectacular compositions. Find a way to get a perspective effect, either shooting backlight, or with ultra-wide angles (U-W lens or stitched images).
