The sky was cloudy: I had to wait for a while until the lighting got as good as can be.Equipment
Nikon D800E Nikon lens 16.0-35.0 mm Hand-heldInspiration
I wanted to have a panoramic view from Tonsai Bay not only for its beauty and wonderful longtail boats, but also because there were only a few people here, while all the tourist were on the next beach (Railay Beach). I waited until people were crossing in line between the two longtails.Editing
This is a stitched panorama (Photoshop) from several photos. I did a little work on the exposure balance in order to replace the ND grad filter I had not when shooting. In my camera bag

Look for the best possible location in order to get the best possible composition. If there are people, wait until they are ideally located (if possible) in the compo. If the sky is cloudy, wait until you have the best possible lighting.
