Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the beast's territory (my garden) after chasing the wild monster for a while during his morning barking routine.

Time

The photo was taken early in the morning, around 7-8, during the crazy barking routing Nkara has to protect her land. She is a jumper but is quite hard to catch her with her ears on the air and impossible to capture her with a clean background. However, this picture was selected because it shows perfectly her spirit and I am really proud of it.

Lighting

The lighting s what it was at the time of day, early in the morning, running towards the light.

Equipment

It was shot in a Canon eos20D with a Canon 70-200mm L.

Inspiration

My little dog is enough inspiration to fill a room.

Editing

I just adjusted the colors a bit but nothing more was needed.

In my camera bag

Tripod, canon 24/70, canon 70/200, sigma 10/20, flashes and remote trigger.

Feedback

When shooting dogs, or for what is worth, any animal, the more you know his behaviour the better you will be able to frame and set up your machine. I am after an owl at the moment and the hardest part is to get to know them.
