Valentine's Day - Treat Yourself

This was photo was taken for marketing purposes of my skincare brand. I love the wooden planks of our backyard jetty, so i used it as a backdrop. The surfboard and my bag was already there, which inspired me to use them as props to add to the picture and message of self love on Valentine's Day. The message:
"Valentine's Day..What is your reaction?
Well to be honest, from the age of 18 I was single for 10 years. Now I don’t mind being an independent and free woman, travelling the world.
????
But when you’re the type where secretly "rom coms" are your favourite movie, then you learn to put up a mental brick wall to the romantic holiday.

So, this is what I say to the holiday… learn who you are, love who you are and to hang onto those who lift you up.
????
Maybe use this Valentine’s Day to treat yourself and someone like your best mate, your surrogate mother, your fave sister, who says that “you being you is awesome!"
