Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a walkway in hobsonville near where i live during the summer period

Time

This photo was taken in the evening as the sun was setting turning the sky this awesome summer orange color

Lighting

I took this photo in the magic hour when the sun has almost gone for the day, i didn't use a flash or any filters as i wanted a pure & natural photo

Equipment

I took this photo with my Canon 77D using an 18-55mm lens. No tripod or other accessories were used

Inspiration

I was walking along a track near hobsonville wharf taking photos when there was a clearing amongst the trees & saw this picturesque scene & thought the toy toy heads with the sunset background was a great shot

Editing

I used Canon digital photo professional to convert from a raw file to jpeg but no editing of photo

In my camera bag

I have my canon 77D, an array of lenses, a tripod & a speedflash as well as cleaning kit

Feedback

I find summer is the best for shooting pictures like this, i took this in the evening but mornings make for colorful skies too. Find a spot that's away from city lights & buildings that can obstruct the scene & look for something that will work in the foreground
