A beautiful shot with a dreamy feel, courtesy of the soft glow and bokeh.
If I may: cropping this right above the loop in the grass; would lead the eye to the detail and glow of the mushroom and, the fascinating highlights behind it.

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! I will try cropping the image, I'm curious about the result :)

Behind The Lens

Location

During the weekend I like to walk into nature, looking for some peace and quiet. I took this picture one morning during a walk on 'the Klitsberg' in Paal (Belgium). The warm sun rays provided a beautiful bokeh.

Time

Just after sunrise.

Lighting

I love the soft morning light and like to play with some backlighting. I usually have a small LED flashlight in my pocket, so I can light up in dark conditions.

Equipment

This photo was taken with my SONY a6000 and I used the macro lens Sony FE 90MM F/2.8G MACRO. The mushroom was low to the ground, so I put my camera on a pillow.

Inspiration

in the autumn, a season with little bloom, mushrooms continue to charm me in a pretty way

Editing

I use Lightroom to develop, sometimes photoshopI. I especially like to go outside and try to limit the work behind the computer

In my camera bag

Small LED flashlight, small reflection screen, paintbrush (to brush away dirt on mushrooms), camera and lenses, flexible arm, pillow (for my camera), tripod

Feedback

Just keep on good looking and trying to find beautiful, cool models. Mushrooms are a rewarding subject, as they do not move ;-)
