Location

this was taken at the imperial sand dunes by Glamis California.

Time

just as Golden hour was approaching, probably about 1.5 hours before sunset.

Lighting

simple natural lighting with the model at an angel to the sun.

Equipment

nikon d800 50mm 1.4

Inspiration

the dunes has easily been one of my favorite locations and the model wanted to go for a semi mad max look.

Editing

yes, lightroom, dodge and burn, soften the skin.

In my camera bag

too much, i mainly just use my 50mm
