Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at a local eco-friendly farm which hosts various events through out the year. This was hosted by Robin Hills Farm, Michigan Avian Experience and photographer Kate Zurenko
Time
This photo was taken towards the end workshop, around 2pm
Lighting
We had a chance to take two birds of prey outside for a snow shoot with natural lighting.
Equipment
Shot with my Nikon D750, and my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8
Inspiration
I was looking to get photos of the Great Horned Owl with snow building up on her feathers with the fresh snowfall
Editing
There was some light editing done to this shot. Noise clearing and little sharpening.
In my camera bag
I always have my D750, Sigma 50mm art, Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, rokinon 14mm, and my Sigma 150-500
Feedback
Photography workshops are a great way to explore new subjects and get to meet/talk and learn with and from other people with the same passion as yourself.
