The headpiece featured in this was a gift from my mother as it was something that she used to wear during her days in SCA from decades ago. It fit with this look.
The wig was a lot of fun to work on, it is originally a "Luthien Classic" in Lavender, I was so thrilled to finally work with a lavender wig, shades of purple have been my favorite for a long time. Especially when I was growing up. They depicted a note of fantasy to me, even as a child.
The styling took me a couple of days and this was shot two days before I went into labor with my daughter last week.
A day spent on detangling the wig, which was more fun than I anticipated, my mom watched as I went and worked on it. Styling it took the longest as I wanted to create something in the fairytale aesthetic, but I knew when shooting it with @ladyduvessa that it would be great if we did a Gothic-Halloween spin. There's more to come as I've been slowly editing more of my work when my daughter is asleep. (Slow progress). The hood was a gift from my friend of extreme talents, @archaicall ????
