Persephone was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter who became Queen of the Underworld, and had been tricked by Hades to eat Pomegranate seeds, which in the myths is the fruit of the Underworld, which meant that she had to spend a 1-3 of the year in the Underworld with her husband. In this, Miss Morgane reminds me of poor Persephone saying goodbye to the earth again as she's about to go to the Underworld for the winter.

I don't know about you, but I love making Modern stories.
