I shared this image more so for the moment than the clarity of the image. The mist on the Mississippi River reduces the clarity quite a bit but the head-on view just after this eagle comes up empty in a attempt to catch a fish is worth sharing. It looks like he was going for a fairly small fish as he tried with just one talon and came up with nothing.
