Partimos de Thumel a 1879m de altitude e caminhamos 3.6 km até ao "Rifugio Gian Federico Benevolo" a 2285m de altitude. Ali a vista era deslumbrante. Passando aquela ponte e caminhando mais alguns kms chegaríamos à base do glaciar de "La Tsanteleina" - aquele que se vê no topo da montanha... lá escutava-se o "Som do Silêncio"!
We leave from Thumel to 1879m of altitude and we walked 3.6 km until "Rifugio Gian Federico Benevolo" to 2285m of altitude. There the view was breathtaking. Passing that bridge and walking a few more kilometers we would arrive at the base of the glacier of "La Tsanteleina" - the one that is seen at the top of the mountain ... there was heard the "Sound of Silence"!
