Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the Susquehanna river in northeast Pennsylvania

Time

I arrived at my spot at 4 am because the spot is frequented by waterfowl in the early morning. The photo was taken around 545 am.

Lighting

The lighting in this photo is all natural light, to invite the viewer to catch a view of morning life on the river.

Equipment

This photo was actually captured with my phone (Samsung Galaxy s6). I have since upgraded to a cannon 5d mark III body with a sigma 150-600mm lens

Inspiration

I was taken back by the natural beauty of the river and its wildlife so I decided to share it with the world.

Editing

I adjusted the contrast slightly to exentuate the colors of the sunrise.

In my camera bag

I usually carry a cannon 5d mark III body with a sigma 150-600mm lense.

Feedback

You can plan out a perfect shot, but 9 times out of 10 it's being in the right place at the right time!
