The spring of 2013 was an overly wet one. With the thaw of winter and non stop rain breaking thick chunks of ice creating blockage, the Little Knife River threatens the whole town of Hebron, North Dakota. I took this shot from my yard not knowing if I would end up indoor swimming pool. The flood waters did rise more than in this image, but I had to prepare for evacuation.
